Wesley King is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is a recent graduate from The University of Alabama where he received a BSE in Music Education. While at the Capstone he participated in the renowned University Singers and was a Drum Major for the Million Dollar Band. He started his own choral ensemble and was a conductor for the University Chamber Chorale. He is a three time finalist for the AMEA Young Composer Competition and an Honorable Mention winner for the MTNA Young Composer Competition. His work has been performed by soloists and high school, collegiate, and church ensembles all across the southeast. As an aspiring performer and writer, he recently moved to Nashville to pursue his musical endeavors.

…Her scenes with Wesley King as young Mr. Brooke are sweet and a nice light-hearted addition to some of the show’s sadder moments. As for King, he shows great timing, in particular in a scene during act two when he gets caught a bit of guard by his future mother-in-law.
